7-Up Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 10 oz of 7-Up soft drink.
- 5 large eggs.
- 4 cups of flour.
- 2 ½ cups of sugar.
- 1 cup of butter.
- ½ cup of shortening.
- 2 tablespoons of lemon extract.
- Confectioners' sugar.
Directions:
- Take the butter, shortening and the sugar and cream until fluffy.
- Add each of the five eggs, one at a time.
- Sift in 4 cups of flour.
- Add the 7-Up and the lemon extract.
- Place the mixture in a pan and bake at 325°F (160°C) for about 100 minutes.
- Dust with confectioners' sugar.
- Slice and serve.
