7-Up Cake Recipe

Directions:

  1. Take the butter, shortening and the sugar and cream until fluffy.
  2. Add each of the five eggs, one at a time.
  3. Sift in 4 cups of flour.
  4. Add the 7-Up and the lemon extract.
  5. Place the mixture in a pan and bake at 325°F (160°C) for about 100 minutes.
  6. Dust with confectioners' sugar.
  7. Slice and serve.
