All-Dressed Spaghetti Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 Tablespoon Vegetable oil
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 1 1/4 Cup Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 Cup Pepperoni, sliced
- 1 Sweet green pepper, chopped
- 1-1/2 Teaspoon Dried oregano
- 14 Ounce Canned tomato sauce
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
Directions:
- In skillet, heat oil ove medium heat; cook onion, mushrooms, pepperoni, green pepper and oregano, stirring often, for 5 minutes or until onion is softened.
- Add tomato sauce, salt and pepper; cook for 3 minutes or until boiling.
- Meanwhile, in large pot of boiling salted water, cook spaghetti for 8-10 minutes or until tender but firm. Drain well and return to pot.
- Add sauce; toss to coat well.
- Per serving: About 605 calories, 20 g protein, 24 g fat, 77 g carbohydrate, very high in fibre, good source iron.
