We just love apple banana bread in our house. Sure, we probably eat too much bread in general, but this is a wonderful way to use freshly picked apples.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 C Butter, softened
- 1/2 C Brown Sugar
- 1/2 C Granulated Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 3 T Sour Cream
- 1 Banana, mashed
- 1 t Vanilla
- 2 C Flour
- 1 t Baking Powder
- 1 t Baking Soda
- 1/2 t Cinnamon
- 2 Apples, cored and chopped
- 1/2 C Chopped Walnuts
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Cream butter and sugars, and beat in eggs.
- Stir in sour cream, banana and vanilla.
- In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda and cinnamon.
- Gradually add to butter mixture.
- Gently stir in apples and nuts. Spoon into greased bread pan and bake 1 hour.
