Caramel Frosting Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/4 c Sweet cream or Half & Half
- 1 tb Butter
- 6 tb Brown sugar
- 1/4 ts Salt
- 2 c Confectioners' sugar
- 1 ts Vanilla
Directions:
- Mix cream, butter, brown sugar and salt and place over low heat. Stir
- until sugar is dissolved. Do not let boil! Remove from heat. Stir in
- confectioners' sugar and vanilla. Stir until cool enough to spread on
- a 9" cake.
