Coffee Crumb Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 5 cups flour (it's best to use half
- all-purpose flour and half Bisquick)
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 3/4 teaspoons baking powder

- Mix together with hands.

- Add 1 1/4 cup oil (vegetable, Crisco)

- Mix together with hands.

- Divide this mixture...one half slightly larger than the other...use 2 bowls.

- In the smaller portion add:

- 3 eggs
- 1 1/8 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- Mix well until free of lumps ( mixture will be thin ).Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

- In the larger portion add:

- 2/3 bar of butter
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup ground nuts
Directions:
- Mix with hands , making crumbs, leaving some large crumbs.
- ** I usually make double the crumbs and leave large crumbs instead of small ones.
- Bake at 400 degrees F for 25-30 minutes till browned.
- Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
