Glazed Tollhouse Cake Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9- or 10-inch Bundt pan.
  2. For Cake, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Beat softened butter, the brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla in a large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually beat in flour mixture just until incorporated. Stir in 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips.
  3. Spoon into prepared pan. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan 20 minutes. Invert onto wire rack to cool completely.
  4. For Glaze, microwave remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips, the corn syrup and 1 tablespoon butter in a medium-size microwave-safe bowl on HIGH for 30 seconds. Stir until smooth. Microwave a few more seconds, if necessary, to complete melting. Pour Glaze over cake
  5. Makes 12 servings.
