"Out Of This World" Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 (13 1/2 ounce) box graham cracker crumbs (or 3 1/2 cups)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 (15 1/4 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 (6 ounce) package frozen coconut
- 1 1/2 cups nuts, chopped
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Directions:
- Grease and flour a tube pan. Mix all ingredients together using an electric mixer. Pour into the tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours. Test at 1 1/4 hours with a straw which will come out clean if done. Set aside to cool before removing from pan.
