Pineapple Loaf Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup crushed pineapple undrained
- 2 1/2 cups cake flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- Dash salt
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 egg whites beaten until stiff
Directions:
- Cream margarine with sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Add pineapple.
- Sift dry ingredients together, add to creamed mixture alternately with water. Fold in egg whites, pour into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour, or until done. Glaze with a powdered sugar glaze, if desired.
