Tiny Toads Recipe
Ingredients:
- # 18 cocktail sausages
- # 2 tablespoons cucumber relish
- # 1 egg
- # 4 oz. (100g ) plain flour
- # half a pint ( 285 ml. ) milk
- # salt and ground black pepper
Directions:
- # Pre-heat oven to 425F, Gas Mark 7, 220C
- # Place 12 well greased patty tins in the oven for 10 minutes
- # Whisk egg, flour, seasoning and half the milk together until smooth
- # Whisk in the rest of the milk
- # Grill the sausages for 5 minutes then slice in half lengthways
- # Place 3 sausage strips in each patty tin and top with a little relish
- # Pour over the batter
- # Bake in the pre-heated oven for about 20-25 minutes till risen then turn out
